Always write, even if you'll have to rewrite every other word.

Yesterday I was tired. Woke up randomly at 4am. Managed to get back to sleep before my alarm, but it wasn't a restful sleep.

After work I was pretty tired. But Muse was active. So I promised myself to write.

2.3k later and I'd completed Chapter 9 (from start to finish). I thought I'd need to re-write every other word. i struggled to write it. I knew what I wanted to happen (or thought I did), but it wasn't flowing and I'm pretty sure a few sentences had several words missing.

However, it is important to write even when you don't feel like it. I truly wanted to take a break yesterday. But, I'm proud of what I achieved.

When I got to bed, it dawned on me what was wrong with the chapter. Tonight I'll make a few notes on what I need to do, and will get on with writing chapter 10. I'll pretend I've made the changes to chapter 9, to keep the story correct.

It's amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it. So far doing a chapter a day is working out. I won't always get a chapter written in a day. Sometimes I'll do less. Sometimes I'll do more. But, however I feel, I'll be writing :)

Unless I have a headache. Using a computer at that point isn't fun.

This is so true, and I should follow through on this more often. It's especially important to do it if you're already on a roll. You stop once and it's so much easier to just let yourself lapse after that.
