Book review #7 The Riddles of Epsilon, Christine Morton-Shaw

Female protag, YA, you'd think I'd get to the end. I didn't get far - I was too scared! This is definitely a supernatural story. I peeked at the end (I have a tendency to do this) and was very freaked out. I'm not going to spoil it. The concept is brilliant, but um not my thing. Too scary. I like to see my monsters!

So, rated 5 stars for being able to scare me. If only I wasn't affected by it, I'd read to the end!

I hate books that scare me. I feel really stupid needing a nightlight after I've read one. A really freaky one is Coraline by Neil Gaiman. It's great, but, er, spooky.

I've heard of that one somewhere...I may steer clear!

It's quite clever, but yeah. Very close to home. I used to have bad dreams about my mother's hand coming to get me. Guess I'm not alone. :$

! No you aren't alone in that!
