Brrrr its cold! My hands are um white. :)
No writing - chores kept me busy this morning (not all morning, I did take breaks but not long enough to settle down on my laptop). And then parents returned from night away, and the birthday celebrations commenced. Currently awaiting the arrival of my nephew and sister, for cake and home made scones. Scones, which I made. Scones, which instead of having lovely, peaceful thoughts thought over them, such as how high they will rise, or how happy the family will be as they eat them, they had thoughts of a darker nature. Like 'Will blood get under fingernails when slitting someone's throat with said fingernails'. And 'How can I make Termions nice and friendly, yet still be threatening?'
Termion isn't a nice novel. In fact, although they are what is now known as Y-rated (Yuna rated, low on the blushables, although high on violence :D), they aren't nice. There was torture in Imperial Intrigue (it'll probably remain). A main character dies in every novel. My religious wip isn't peaceful (and doesn't have a permanent title yet. Methinks I'll do a poll for that one). MC isn't nice.
The only one which I believe will be nice is Gem Manipulator. Yes, there will be drama, a few fights (magical and non-magical), but it is lighthearted, hopefully with a lot of laughs in. I wanted something light and fun.
Termion isn't that at all. What gives it away? Hm, I think the beheading in chapter 1, the throat slitting around chapters 4-6, the killing of animals (necessary), a particularly gross instance involving the FMC's eye....I'll stop now, so I don't spoil the plot or anyone's appetite.
So no writing on it today, but hopefully tomorrow. After language lesson and lunch out :) And much cake :)
