Today's post is about creativity = scatterbrain.
Background detail: I'm not a neat and tidy person. After a quarter of a century of life, I still struggle to keep things in their own place, especially in my bedroom.
I'm discovering that the more creative I become (thinking about my wips all the time, constantly plotting), the worse my organisation gets. Example: yesterday I found something I'd misplaced. I thought 'aha' and put it away. A few hours later, when I needed it, I couldn't find it. I searched a lot of places. I then stopped, prayed, and got on with life. 1 hour later I found it.
I'm diabolical for putting things down and forgetting where they are straight away or 30 minutes later or hours later. It's a worsening phenomena. I put it all down to my creativity.
For those of you who write, and those who know writers, are they just as scatterbrained? Do they try and work the tv with a cell/mobile phone? Do they try and put things away in the wrong place? Forget where things are?
