Hi everyone! My bad for not putting this post up sooner. A while back I was thinking of merging all my thoughts on this blog with my review blog. I've since merged them, so please do head over to <a href="http://nayusreadingcorner.blogspot.co.uk/">Nayu's Reading Corner</a> to find out what's going on. There's all the usual writing news, anime news, and other randomness. A huge thank you for reading this blog - having just the one will make things a little easier. Plus I've become more confident at sharing my craziness with the world.Nayuleskahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08693548526829437580noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5610236969113047277.post-26773495107042771912012-03-15T17:05:00.005+00:002012-03-15T17:05:53.765+00:00Finding that happy balance<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
This weekend was a major revelation for me. The clue is in the title. I really did figure out what writing meant. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I had a few things going on in life that I didn't understand, and I couldn't solve them by myself. They are things which will take time to solve, and aren't directly related to me (yet involve me. Yes I know it sounds complex - that's life for you). I wasn't feeling amazing, but I thought I'd try and write. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
An hour and a bit later I was riding on the 'I've finished a chapter' endorphins. It was about then I had the epiphany. Writing makes me feel better. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now that is a major discovery for me, especially at the moment when the ketamine infusion has worn off (boooo!). I deployed the tactic on Monday and Tuesday after work, and it worked stupendously. Old rule of only writing at certain times on certain days is out. I can write whenever I like, so long as I have the energy. Editing will be at set times on set days, because it requires a fair amount of energy which I have to regulate. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Alongside that, Tuesday I came home and thought of things for others which are on my agenda. But then I thought no. I could have done things for others, but the whole concept of me managing my time better is about placing me first. So I wrote one and a bit chapters. It felt amazing! By exploring the problems for my characters I felt better equipped with dealing with the lovely life curve balls I've got bouncing about. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Acting on the result of this epiphany meant I finished my fairy wip yesterday. I'm going to continue with my anime inspired wip this weekend. Today I've used a lot of brain energy at work (proofreading, which I do occasionally as part of my job), so no writing as brain is tired. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
But writing productivity is up with very little disruption to my beta reading & book reviewing. I think I've found a happy balance. </div>Nayuleskahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08693548526829437580noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5610236969113047277.post-39270156828685445082012-03-11T17:45:00.002+00:002012-03-11T17:45:21.893+00:00All fun at the carwash<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
This weekend has been a fun one, filled with reading and writing. A lot of reading, and I'm slowly increasing the amount of writing I do (although this is always relative to how I feel. I did feel better for writing, so will try to do a little even if I'm not feeling amazing). </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today after writing a chapter for my fairy wip, I headed out to pick up my friend so we could go get some groceries, get my car washed and have our usual Chinese buffet meal. All was good. We are old hands at the car wash. It's not like the first time we went in together and were convinced we were going to die. I'm not joking. Car washes, if you've never been in one, is a scary experience. The world goes white and wet. In today's case, that was very literal. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So I'd lined up the car, put it in neutral, and was waiting for it to move forward. It started doing its thing, with the water and the foam. My friend suddenly says 'it's coming in the window!' I turn around, and sure enough there is indeed water & foam coming in the back window. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I refused to look at it until we were out. My friend made me laugh as she said variations of 'It's still coming in the window/Foam is everywhere'. I'd been going to buy some kitchen towel anyway, so I bought extra just in case it was really bad. It wasn't, and with the sun it soon dried up. Although I don't use the windows int he back (or ever really carry passengers), sometimes as I put shopping in I think the back window handle gets knocked a little. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm relaxing now, and laughing at this morning's incident. I followed it up with a water related incident as I helped with Round One of the dishes with my family. One family member said something, I was replying, and strumbled over my cat's water bowl, which is on the mat beside the food bowl. There was water everywhere. I'm hoping I can make it to bed without more water incidents. My life is never boring! </div>Nayuleskahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08693548526829437580noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5610236969113047277.post-65656706222527319092012-03-09T18:33:00.000+00:002012-03-09T18:33:01.819+00:00Key thief vs Ditzy writer<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Or I leave my phone somewhere, unhelpfully on silent. It's alright if it's on vibrate. Once I lost it at work and was rather distraught, thankfully found it in the car. Now I look in the car first. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This morning, feeling a little worse for wear for staying up late to finish a book (I'm so not doing that on a work night again, but the book was worth it) I had 30 minutes at the most to be out the house. All was fine until I went to get my keys. I couldn't find them. I wasn't too panicked as I put them in variious places. But 20 minutes later, after throwing everything off my bed, then back on it, looking all around the house downstairs, I knew I had to go. Thankfully I keep my spare car key to hand, and used a spare house key. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I was so annoyed with myself for a few minutes, but as I drove to work that feeling diminished. I do this all the time. I was starting to find it funny, especially with the thought of the state of my room (it took a while to set it right). It then dawned on me there was one pocket in my bag which I hadn't looked in. I arrived at work before a Time Management course with time to spare, so I opened up the pocket, dug around, and low and behold I found my keys. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I laughed a lot, and then phoned home while I made my way to the room where the course was found. Family were pleased I'd found it. A friend texted me saying 'you and your keys!' when I told her (hers was the case where I was super upset after chinese because I couldn't find my kyes and really thought I'd have to phone my parents to come out with the spare set, then as I tipped the bag upside down in a fit of rage out tinkled the keys. Now my friend watches where I put my keys, so at least someone knows where they are. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A cleaner commented I was looking happy, so I explained what had happened to her. She laughed too :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It's part of who I am, which reduces the stress somewhat. Although there always is a 'what if I have really lost them this time' feeling of dread. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Do you know where your keys and phone are right now? </div>Nayuleskahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08693548526829437580noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5610236969113047277.post-21825984781865839332012-03-08T18:41:00.001+00:002012-03-08T18:41:25.625+00:00Because I buy petrol...<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

How's the rest of the week looking? Learning about Time Management at work on Friday - it's an inhouse course which I'm hoping to pick up some extra tips. The highlight of tomorrow is as yet unknown. Ditto Saturday, but on Sunday I'm having lunch with a friend at our usual Chinese buffet. </div>

<br />
Or a whole load of them. I can safely say this isn't a cold - it's allergies. A scented candle has been lit all afternoon. There have been two lit, so I'm not entirely sure which is the culprit. I think it's the one labelled 'ho ho ho' (no guess as to what time of year that arrived). Either way, streaming sore eyes = my night so far. I'm hoping it calms down. I'm going to get some eye drops tomorrow - have taken the anti-histmine tablet & nose spray. Thankfully I'm going near a Boots pharmacy. <br />
<br />
The rest of the day has mostly been tissue free. I did my new Saturday schedule of tweeting links to reviews, sending links to publicists and scheduling reviews for this week in a reasonable time. It was fun doing it. It was even more fun coming home and reading. Read too very good books this afternoon, and hoping to squeeze another in tonight.<br />
<br />
Tomorrow I'm heading off to meet some friends, which will be a fun few hours. Followed by lots of reading until Tuesday :) I can live with that - I'm getting to grips with chilling.Nayuleskahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08693548526829437580noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5610236969113047277.post-10210758358111684472012-03-02T18:25:00.001+00:002012-03-02T18:25:27.294+00:00How I became a smurf<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgh9Jkv_uEZPbEQIqfoTgUXhq_yHUCmBoVi0Gytd4WTNQu8joA5zrBmW5DOUWb8o4wTslaDVg9yJlIvwCGhoqEU_2xiiD2S9P39HQEgo6v1LshjsIqi9sVTBcjd7ic7EKC5t67j6EQsYUJ_/s1600/smurfette.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgh9Jkv_uEZPbEQIqfoTgUXhq_yHUCmBoVi0Gytd4WTNQu8joA5zrBmW5DOUWb8o4wTslaDVg9yJlIvwCGhoqEU_2xiiD2S9P39HQEgo6v1LshjsIqi9sVTBcjd7ic7EKC5t67j6EQsYUJ_/s400/smurfette.jpg" width="292" /></a></div>
<br />
In truth, I can't remember much about the smurfs. I have one of their books in French, although I haven't read it recently. However that is what I got called at work this morning.<br />
<br />Why? Well, here's the tale of me and my disagreement with a printer toner drum. A cyan printer toner drum.<br />
<br />A courier was due on Wednesday to collect it. On Thursday it was still there, and I had an email saying that I needed to sign a form and put it in the box. So I signed the form, picked up the toner which I'd up ended on one side of my desk, lifted it over the keyboard and brought it to the edge of the desk by my lap. I realised I needed scissors so looked down to see...<br /><br />....a sea of blue powder. It was all over the desk, all over my dress, on my jeans. My usual colleages were out at lunch so I called another one who camee to help clear up. I was finding it funny. It was everywhere. And it's also toxic (not good). It's a good thing I wear a headscarf otherwise I'd have blue in my hair. Not sure how it got there. Once my desk was clean, I waited for my manager and another colleague to return, sending them a cryptic msn message. They came in and saw me. I was laughing. I asked to go home as I needed to change from the clothes.<br />
<br />
Fortunately I was able to do a quick wardrobe change before heading to my car and goig home early. I washed all the clothes together, shoved in two capsules, and waited. It all came out! Which was amazing. Now this morning it turns out my colleagues were looking back on it and saying I looked like a smurf. Our top boss walked in, and genuinely wondered what was so funny. So they explained. He started laughing, stopped to ask if I was ok, then laughed a bit. <br /><br />I find it hilarious. yes it was toxic, but it actually came out in the wash. We did take photos in case it didn't come out so I could claim damages. It's a tale that will be remembered for a long time. <br />Nayuleskahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08693548526829437580noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5610236969113047277.post-24897070179903908322012-02-27T18:47:00.002+00:002012-02-27T18:47:59.731+00:00Afternoon down time<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiQdXndFHIn2xQ_iLbOthi1sIKxfXiynJBIDNZgy-BjTSqU8Icgy2m6kLYnP1pU0PKZamJEdtw9SXzVOpZ-scYS3XeHg2vROIiG3G0YvvoYk0UlNqmHEYIE2rYpJq_4-ox4sNiStJpQOAb/s1600/anime+girl+in+bed.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiQdXndFHIn2xQ_iLbOthi1sIKxfXiynJBIDNZgy-BjTSqU8Icgy2m6kLYnP1pU0PKZamJEdtw9SXzVOpZ-scYS3XeHg2vROIiG3G0YvvoYk0UlNqmHEYIE2rYpJq_4-ox4sNiStJpQOAb/s400/anime+girl+in+bed.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
No, the internet was not down this afternoon (yay!). I was the one having down time. Given that I've streamlined and improved when I shcedule reviews, I had 2 whole free hours on my hand. I thought I could read - which I could - but I'd borrowed Twilight films (the trilogy) from a friend, so sat down and watched it. That way I'd be having a good rest, not really thinking so much which reading requires me to do.<br />
<br />I enjoyed Twilight a lot more than I expected. There were only a few parts I wasn't so keen on<br />
<br />
* Edward dazzling in sunlight. It looks terrible. So not how I imagined it. Will skip that scene in future.<br />
* Will skip the whole 'lying on the grass saying nothing' scene too. Yawn.<br />
* Not keen on Laurent's outfit, but hey, at least he isn't around much.<br />
* La Push crowd weren't how I expected.<br />
<br />
The parts I was keen on are as follows:<br />
<br />
* Bella - she's cool, a bit needy, a bit silly to stick around with Edward at times, but she wants to keep those she loves safe.<br />
* Baseball scene - both before and after Laurent arrivces.<br />
* Ballet studio scenes - these were my favourites of the film. Truly wonderful (I must be weird for liking violence but hating romance).<br />
* Alice - again, totally cool. Cute hair cut. You can see how much she cares for Bella and why they become such good friends.<br />
* Rosalie - she is exactly how I pictured her to be. It'll be perfect for Breaking Dawn.<br />
<br />
Right, Twilight info over.<br />
<br />
For the rest of tonight I'm going to read. I might get to finish the dragon trilogy I'm reading - will see how it goes. Don't expect to finish Breaking Dawn before bed (my night read), but am back on fhte Bella part so am no longer so bored.<br />
<br />
Have a great day!Nayuleskahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08693548526829437580noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5610236969113047277.post-60707942833809848812012-02-24T18:30:00.001+00:002012-02-24T18:43:34.788+00:00Secret Project is no more, but writing is on!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiUy6MKtcXqRdW_ZzXAlnMDFXQ6rBqDX6dMIOsYRFG-pFUtpEm_hpb0JhDpNmFFaG0w-Qv8DZpeQ_ZTc-yIAWVYYBlLwnGYv_0qaNj5ur3If8biff-UIVy52rJ2LIWcgZeQJ_r6REA29-J/s1600/anime+girl+thinking.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiUy6MKtcXqRdW_ZzXAlnMDFXQ6rBqDX6dMIOsYRFG-pFUtpEm_hpb0JhDpNmFFaG0w-Qv8DZpeQ_ZTc-yIAWVYYBlLwnGYv_0qaNj5ur3If8biff-UIVy52rJ2LIWcgZeQJ_r6REA29-J/s320/anime+girl+thinking.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
(I chose this random anime picture because the girl looks as though she is in thought, as I have been. Picture is from <a href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=lost+girl+anime&um=1&hl=en&safe=active&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&biw=963&bih=476&tbm=isch&tbnid=AK1mkTfVNctlIM:&imgrefurl=http://cb1611.blog.com/category/uncategorized/&docid=XgHm-hqDl2w0FM&imgurl=http://cb1611.blog.com/files/2011/07/AnimeGirlSad.jpg&w=1024&h=768&ei=atZHT5PdIOme0QXFob2vDg&zoom=1">here.)</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I don't believe in coincidence. Everything happens for a reason - which is why when I saw a thread on a forum I belong to about what you need to do if you have a small business (no matter how small it starts), I knew it wasn't the path I'd be taking. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For what I thought was a simple procedure, was actually more complicated, and the time it would take wouldn't be worth the end result. So that secret project is shelved for now. If I ever make a career out of writing, yes I might try again. But for now, I'll put my energy where it's needed most. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'd like to pretend that energy should be spent on writing. Been quite tired this week, starting to pick up a bit now, which is a relief. Today while cleaning the coffee machine at work (I have to scrub all the hardened bits of chocolate around the spout/pipe which takes a bit of time. I actually really enjoy doing it) the rest of the plot for my fairy wip fell into place. So now I'm going to have a little write, and see where I end up. There is a <i>possibility</i> that I <i>might finish my wip this weekend.</i> </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Squee! How cool would that be? I'm not goint to try and finish - if I'm tired, I won't write. But I will write. I'm going to do a little bit now, to appease Muse and then she might let me settle to reading. You've never seen the fairies like mine. *hi-fives Muse*<br />

Edited to add: have stopped to think how I feel, and writing would be a bad idea. Reading it is :) </div>Nayuleskahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08693548526829437580noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5610236969113047277.post-61522860979465573292012-02-21T18:27:00.003+00:002012-02-21T18:27:29.621+00:00A good few days<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7aRSHtrbPXfYdDJwLpibj7sI1e55n10zphjvAd0dFkKz9GBJKLdSgmcl-FVWI0ZVhcNbzweFvJ3ir2qUIaC-l8-8ItMdLtMuB8W9OPfGueYFcZ3pb3TONF8wrsuJGCpXI2CiAKi9XnntC/s1600/blue+green+yarn.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="256" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7aRSHtrbPXfYdDJwLpibj7sI1e55n10zphjvAd0dFkKz9GBJKLdSgmcl-FVWI0ZVhcNbzweFvJ3ir2qUIaC-l8-8ItMdLtMuB8W9OPfGueYFcZ3pb3TONF8wrsuJGCpXI2CiAKi9XnntC/s320/blue+green+yarn.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
(My yarn looks like this (link <a href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=laceweight+yarn+blue+green&um=1&hl=en&safe=active&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&biw=744&bih=476&tbm=isch&tbnid=JqKaGj1HwT1BwM:&imgrefurl=http://www.colourfuldesigns.co.uk/shop/index.php%3Fmain_page%3Dproducts_new&docid=V6yXN60jBDVojM&imgurl=http://www.colourfuldesigns.co.uk/shop/images/YARN/SWBFLNYLON_SOCK_TurquoisePurple.JPG&w=500&h=400&ei=HeFDT77VCYPg8APNx4yGCA&zoom=1">here</a>) , but has a bit more purple and green in it) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I don't like not having a post title before I write a post, but I'll have to lump it. I'm not going to waste minutes thinking of a title. That's pointless. Especially when those minutes can be used on reading. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
By the end of work this afternoon, I was all but fleeing the building. It's not bad, not in any respect. I just had been printing similar stuff all day as a favour for a colleague. That's all I did - minus setting refreshments up for a meeting. Usually I don't have one job I do solidly all day. It wasn't even difficult, just time consuming, you know? </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyway, was very happy to head home and veg out with Netflix and knitting fingerless gloves. I'm using a laceweight yarn, which means I knit lots and lots of rows compared to my usual DK/thicker yarn. It's a pretty blue/green/purple yarn. I've got lots of it - several other balls. I figured if I start knitting superfine fingerless gloves for the summer now, I might actually have some for when I need them. Among other things, my body likes to play around with my temperature, especially for my hands. I'm usually cold in summer now, even when there's a heat wave. But because I can change rapidly from cold to hot and back to cold, by having thinner fingerless gloves I'm less likely to boil when I have a hot phase. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The whole 'not blogging apart from Saturday & Wednesday' thing is working out really well for me. Yesterday wasn't exactly a typical Monday as I had the day off, but it was still a bit strange not to go near my blog. Today was very weird, but it was fun just chilling out after work. The rest meant I felt up to writing, which is part of the plan. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love fairies, and I adore fairy stories. I'm in love with writing fairy stories - I'm currently creating a wing disease young fairies can get. I know what it is, but I actually need the specifics for a conversation between the protagonist and a secondary character. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm hoping Muse will come up with something either tonight when I'm not really thinking about it, or tomorrow. Instead of thinking logically what the symptoms of the wing disease is, I kept smiling at the screen and squeeing over the fact I'm writing a fairy series! Which isn't all that productive, but I don't care because it felt <i>good</i>. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Tonight will be reading and watching <i>Prisoners' Wives</i> on BBC1 (no, I don't get anything for mentioning in the show. I figured my lovely blog readers might (more likely might not) be interested in what I watch. And finishign <i>Dragonskin Slippers</i> by Jessica Day George. I seriously hate the evil, spoilt, conniving brat of a princess. She is evil people! I've been crying a lot over this book. And it's the first in a trilogy. On the plus side I have the two other books beside me. But still, it's a tough read. There had better be a happy ending (if not in book 1 then definitely in book 3) or I will not be a happy bunny. Or should that be a happy dragon?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Enjoy your evening! Family are making American style pancakes, so that's what I'm eating tonight. Yum yum! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
(& yes, my infusion is still working!!!)</div>

This is what I had this morning, as I grabbed 'coffee' with my friend. She actually did have coffee. I was going to have hot chocolate, but I have that a lot at home and often get disappointed by hot chocolate in cafes, so I quickly scanned the menu and was intrigued by 'strawberry yogurt shake'. Verdit? 100% Yum! Supremely tasty, fresh, not artificial - it was good. It didn't have a swirl, and didn't have a strawberry on top, but was still delicious to nom on.<br />
<br />
Today was the first day of not writing reviews/blog work in the afternoon. It was really good fun just watching dramas and crocheting this afternoon. There was that satisfied 'whoohoo' I had. So for 2 hours on Saturday I manage to do what I usually spend about 12+ hours in a week. Big difference in productivity. It's a bit of a no-brainer what I'll be doing in the future.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Oh, I did make a vanilla clotted cream milkshake with a dash of orange. (It looked like the milkshake in the picture) I kind of made the recipe up in the end, and won't use orange in the future. I thought I was being healthy with the orange. I was, and it tasted nice, but I think the orange overruled the scrummy ice cream. Still, it's trial and error. This is an experiment I enjoy doing, and feel it is my duty to try every single weekend. <br />
<br />
Tomorrow I've got a day off work, to run an errand and beside that I hope to write. And watch more Netflix.<br />
<br />
Now it's time for me to go read about dragons and spoilt bratty princesses and a sweet freckle faced girl.<br />

More relaxation<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Yesterday it dawned on me that on my review blog I've put up a note saying barring urgent email, I'll reply on Wednesdays and Saturdays. That is a good move. Not only for when I deal with email, but also when I schedule up my reviews. So I'm trying it out. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today, after a fun writing session (one chapter on fairy wip), once I got the internet to work on my laptop (it worked everywhere else bar my laptop. Stupid machine. I tried restarting the router, my laptop, everything. I finally got it working - not entirely sure how, don't really care!) I started scheduling up reviews. I'm all set until Friday 24th. *feels productive* It means after work no reviewing. I'm more awake (allegedly) in the mornings on a non-work day, so in theory I'll put the reviews up faster. It's really nice to think I can go relax for the week now. On Wednesday I'll schedule a few more up to tide me over to the weekend. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So what am I up to today? Well, dvds/Netflix will be happening this afternoon. I want to do some more of my secret project too. Need to start getting samples for that. I hope I can reveal all by the end of March. It's not writing related, before you ask. And I honestly can't remember if I've blogged about it already #forgetfulamI.<br />
<br />
Edited to add: Posts for this blog are not and won't be pre-scheduled. I prefer randomness, and often it's about what I've recently done. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Time to go get some lunch and go chill! Hope your weekend goes fairly smoothly. </div>Nayuleskahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08693548526829437580noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5610236969113047277.post-62005106191271674962012-02-17T18:18:00.000+00:002012-02-17T18:18:05.408+00:00Writing withdrawal<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
It's been nearly a week since I've written. Muse is not a happy bunny. Not one bit. But she understands it isn't my fault germ gremlins like me so much.<br />
<br />
I have been taking it easy (truly!), been reading a lot and doing crochet. I'm hoping I'll be up for writing tomorrow. I've missed it, but brain fog has played a big part in not writing. However, I'm pretty sure that resting up has shortened the length of time I'm ill, which is a huge plus. Time to go relax!Nayuleskahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08693548526829437580noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5610236969113047277.post-52607524432732101402012-02-12T18:03:00.000+00:002012-02-12T18:03:19.574+00:00I can be good - I just don't like to be good.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioSK4vIRZ452PvPpMtxC5W-KnuDd98vnPY-LueMTto2BOgAV9INoSNaxkyMT-SLEsMc-1MCjOVGO4LEdbzJOJz26E-WI55SkMnsJfHwCUIf0jjg1dvkM4F4X0hZqEZFF7bTzmsVG_6DtNS/s1600/aika+in+a+mood.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioSK4vIRZ452PvPpMtxC5W-KnuDd98vnPY-LueMTto2BOgAV9INoSNaxkyMT-SLEsMc-1MCjOVGO4LEdbzJOJz26E-WI55SkMnsJfHwCUIf0jjg1dvkM4F4X0hZqEZFF7bTzmsVG_6DtNS/s400/aika+in+a+mood.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
(This is Aika from the anime Aria the origination. I can't remember if this is the episode I'm thinking of, but she gets ill with a cold and fever, so has to stay in bed and can't practice with Akari and Alice. She gets rather grouchy about it - which is so like me when I have to be good. I have to add I'm internally grouchy.) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
By being good I don't mean avoiding misbehaviour. I mean being good and resting. One of my friends who is new to Twitter sent me a tweet today reminding me to rest. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I spent most of the day watching Bones,which is resting. I worked on my Non-Writing Secret Project which I will reveal when it is ready (by the end of the month, hopefully). I then did some crochet. Didn't feel 100% so haven't written today. I'm scheduling up a few reviews before watching more dvds and doing some knitting.This is all in aid of me listening to my body and resting as soon as it demands rest. Sigh. It's so hard to do! </div>

<br />
Yummy! Gooey chocolate brownie similar to the one I ate this afternoon. You fancy eating one now, don't you? <br />
<br />
Yesterday was a snow day. It had snowed just enough that travelling wasn't all that safe out here in the country (where there be lots of hills. Lots, lots and lots of hills). So I took a day's leave. Managed to get in some reading, some writing, some dvd watching (a happy day).<br />
<br />
Today I woke up feeling a little funky. With my family recovering from colds, I'm not entirely surprised I feel a bit off kilter. So I read this morning, did a few chores, watched both Bones and Cardcaptor Sakura, now I'm blogging, checking emails and tonight I'm going to read.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I received more Hama beads pegboards and beads. Yay! At last I can get started on my Winx designs. For that reason I am not posting a book review tonight. I'm going to figure out how to do the designs and which colours to use. I promise there will be photos. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today involved lots of snow, so I had to take a day's holiday (living on a hill in the country isn't as idyllic as it sounds). I'd also only had 4 hours sleep so in truth my brain is rather fuzzy now as I've been up nearly 14 hours. & I've got another 6 hours to go until I can actually sleep. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Bye! </div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The other day on Twitter Luisa Plaja mentioned hama beads in relation to her latest book (<a href="http://nayusreadingcorner.blogspot.com/2012/02/kiss-date-love-hate-by-luisa-plaja.html">review & guest blog post link</a>). I'd seen them mentioned a few times, and googled them. Then I realised what they were. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSHvteq9GvDzHkwoWPk7N21FU_YcW_V5wFMEZU9RkWcxmlf531tsmM9neHVhdJQEbfeLi3R2J1yll73yHMhmZ380RRcyY3IxHJS-jHSlGrqnIbY8TL_gjwbgWvA2P6XZGgfdUMmJbrblD8/s1600/hama+beads.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSHvteq9GvDzHkwoWPk7N21FU_YcW_V5wFMEZU9RkWcxmlf531tsmM9neHVhdJQEbfeLi3R2J1yll73yHMhmZ380RRcyY3IxHJS-jHSlGrqnIbY8TL_gjwbgWvA2P6XZGgfdUMmJbrblD8/s1600/hama+beads.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'd had the equivalent of hama beads when I was little. I remember having great fun getting the tub down and choosing different colours for designs. I think I mostly used designs from the box, as I wasn't all that good at creating my own. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
In my efforts to increase my <a href="http://nayus-realm.blogspot.com/2012/02/this-thing-called-rest.html">chilling out sessions</a>, and still feel like I'm doing something, I ordered a Hello Kitty kit. Here's what I made </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-2Z-6xZnmq39Blp2KCHY8mg1YEFKz_VfPwvqfIuPllBNSIunGLJa9h6KLdzILdSzHdMFjkt-YB7odeEFTlfxTMoLGiDE6Hu7GLe-Doz2KWlpnUAKE71J7J_xOqjuUtAu-ESKLcOjGKqnj/s1600/IMG_0436.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-2Z-6xZnmq39Blp2KCHY8mg1YEFKz_VfPwvqfIuPllBNSIunGLJa9h6KLdzILdSzHdMFjkt-YB7odeEFTlfxTMoLGiDE6Hu7GLe-Doz2KWlpnUAKE71J7J_xOqjuUtAu-ESKLcOjGKqnj/s320/IMG_0436.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I think this is the 'right' side, as the other side (which is what you can see on the pegboard) is where the beads merge together. The yellow is from the kit's paper - I put it down the wrong side so ironed yellow onto Miffy?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_WJ5DSu2NKAxxME4KuePduuK-wnBozfXtrlb1ULF075HbzQ2TzL8v-GxohcPh3KxoxdPSX-hsR-qRdNlmJf-rmupbJLlljc9zVmtaSxpjSxV79slXTFzlgaFW359dtkA-WqFmV45L5apW/s1600/IMG_0437.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_WJ5DSu2NKAxxME4KuePduuK-wnBozfXtrlb1ULF075HbzQ2TzL8v-GxohcPh3KxoxdPSX-hsR-qRdNlmJf-rmupbJLlljc9zVmtaSxpjSxV79slXTFzlgaFW359dtkA-WqFmV45L5apW/s320/IMG_0437.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Miffy? Can't quite remember the name of the bunny. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjLJZrn0q6ySeyDKaxET8JNMsyD1zvQqwacO6GIi_8j7m0jjFFsXufnZHzQMQVlZX75FHL43RxrLDcuMNpGP5mn1voY0I8aZ2uyMkKMXsCk8X-yRI1uaLHr3TzhQgUV9jFLlCIvN00g-31/s1600/IMG_0439.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjLJZrn0q6ySeyDKaxET8JNMsyD1zvQqwacO6GIi_8j7m0jjFFsXufnZHzQMQVlZX75FHL43RxrLDcuMNpGP5mn1voY0I8aZ2uyMkKMXsCk8X-yRI1uaLHr3TzhQgUV9jFLlCIvN00g-31/s320/IMG_0439.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
(un-ironed side)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hello Kitty - she rules! Now the reason this says FF is I'm sending it to my friend in China. She, like me, is Final Fantasy Mad. The problem is I didn't realise that the hama beads are sort of backwards, if you have the un-ironed side facing. She'll know what it means though. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijwaFP2nd6jvsFzezIfvtYIjyRB-YAsOE7ccKjBeymeuU7ohJnEm2FFSt5FZLtwwofLba98wCuy7Q5irRFMJy9xRm7JbeZ15bS67NiY9YdvbzpRnXLiGlGGuzEfWPLL6WAtKn7LNoSiihD/s1600/IMG_0438.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijwaFP2nd6jvsFzezIfvtYIjyRB-YAsOE7ccKjBeymeuU7ohJnEm2FFSt5FZLtwwofLba98wCuy7Q5irRFMJy9xRm7JbeZ15bS67NiY9YdvbzpRnXLiGlGGuzEfWPLL6WAtKn7LNoSiihD/s320/IMG_0438.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
(ironed side, super splodged beads to the top left of her head) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The real reason why I got Hama beads (aside from being able to send something light to my international friends) is because I want to get creative Winx style. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGOZ8Px8xRKlxhJYWlmQXZ0YP-rvTfkMQAAWIlBY3Mhdxt5GSHEs6jlcCxEMNjH7-kFYBJyQ9Nj27jL6iMOOlUVlkTuXzwc8uOB8QCUmGNNCSXHVq-j8mQCL13j6wziFYR3QdSkiOya2dQ/s1600/Flora's+poussiere+du+fee.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGOZ8Px8xRKlxhJYWlmQXZ0YP-rvTfkMQAAWIlBY3Mhdxt5GSHEs6jlcCxEMNjH7-kFYBJyQ9Nj27jL6iMOOlUVlkTuXzwc8uOB8QCUmGNNCSXHVq-j8mQCL13j6wziFYR3QdSkiOya2dQ/s320/Flora's+poussiere+du+fee.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I want to see if I can create hama bead designs of the fairy dust pouches (above picture is Flora's fairy dust pouch) the Charmix symbols, and a few other things. It will be a lot of trial and error, but great fun too. I'll put take photos of all attempts. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
Today's been an errand day this morning, and this afternoon I watched the last 3 episodes of Winx Season 4. I'm super excited because next I will watch the 2nd Winx movie, which I've never seen (because I bought it after I got season 4). I think I'll watch it tomorrow after I get back from work. It'll be something fun to look at after wading through my inbox - tomorrow I head back to work after a week off. It might be 'spot my desk' under a pile of post-it notes. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Tonight I think there's Masterchef on BBC1, so I'll be watching that. I think I'll be doing some Hama beading, and some reading too. </div>Nayuleskahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08693548526829437580noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5610236969113047277.post-2306649154985503902012-02-05T19:13:00.002+00:002012-02-05T19:13:49.558+00:00This thing called rest...<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6Svn313PGU5v4zDDrUPGu4egU1XX0BAmlQwbX280xTBCGN9kJqHeU3J-hBMlZiNckLwvOFfjHnsBcG4u7V5mvg1QoUsz9p1s0MMi67zgdUn5-glEZgD5uZ2Gp7Tm3GUMjx4TShJyeVH69/s1600/anime+girl+asleep+reading.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6Svn313PGU5v4zDDrUPGu4egU1XX0BAmlQwbX280xTBCGN9kJqHeU3J-hBMlZiNckLwvOFfjHnsBcG4u7V5mvg1QoUsz9p1s0MMi67zgdUn5-glEZgD5uZ2Gp7Tm3GUMjx4TShJyeVH69/s400/anime+girl+asleep+reading.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
...is now known as 'chilling'. Day one of attempting to rest is nearly over. A good friend suggested calling it 'chilling' rather than 'rest'. It did the trick. I'm happy learning how to chill out. Sounds a fun thing to do. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So what have I been up to today? I've been reading and watching anime. I had to put two books to one side - one at page 75, and the other at page 6. I need slightly upbeat reads at the moment. Both were quite grim, and I knew I wouldn't enjoy it if I kept reading. I will be writing partial reviews on them, as they are recent releases. I will read them sometime in the future when I'm up for them. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I had one hour of anime - one episode of Strawberry Marshmallow</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPBhUoiMu77WFWLgwBx6l8eoq3cUmCzsNu7_D9KMCSZNdWNmZR4c-kXQ88WnKaVXYXtDj-W8lszoONcUcWwu3PKZNRt08_Tc5M-urYQRDHGAatlsL4OPbWk-0JFA8le4uaLokxBVLsWFNQ/s1600/strawberry+marshmallow+anime.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPBhUoiMu77WFWLgwBx6l8eoq3cUmCzsNu7_D9KMCSZNdWNmZR4c-kXQ88WnKaVXYXtDj-W8lszoONcUcWwu3PKZNRt08_Tc5M-urYQRDHGAatlsL4OPbWk-0JFA8le4uaLokxBVLsWFNQ/s1600/strawberry+marshmallow+anime.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
It was the first episode so Anna (the girl on the right) wasn't in it just yet. The girls were being sweet and staying up making a present and birthday cards for Nobue. <br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And one episode of Winx season 4. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEoC9O2h673c4HCAgCNasioqrjED9k7yIQ5BsJIxvoilw5I5jf208MBSDZ_C5FndhXTU5dOHwMoUOiVPFo-0u76BLy73zDBNR_NSvZ9M-VNkQul6a4oaisphyphenhyphenVPnc7KAHe0xzqaQiCEOJ-/s1600/winx+saison+4+dvd+cover.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEoC9O2h673c4HCAgCNasioqrjED9k7yIQ5BsJIxvoilw5I5jf208MBSDZ_C5FndhXTU5dOHwMoUOiVPFo-0u76BLy73zDBNR_NSvZ9M-VNkQul6a4oaisphyphenhyphenVPnc7KAHe0xzqaQiCEOJ-/s320/winx+saison+4+dvd+cover.jpg" width="228" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The girls are learning how strong the freed fairies are, and meet their match with the fairy Diana. In the next episode they will be learning Sophix (where they are at one with nature). </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiClssDtr1Iwjx9bmOgm8ZAOJLM48U3-Ux6qGALY4eB_WvpNqcK6tX3ia_DbXCY6tUW2SpIuISS6CELuy6RGrD6K8icUA9wHecYiDvfh7_FA7DvcOoWJbgYrfJ6qkbVaqbmws1KZX-p6PZg/s1600/stella+sophix.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiClssDtr1Iwjx9bmOgm8ZAOJLM48U3-Ux6qGALY4eB_WvpNqcK6tX3ia_DbXCY6tUW2SpIuISS6CELuy6RGrD6K8icUA9wHecYiDvfh7_FA7DvcOoWJbgYrfJ6qkbVaqbmws1KZX-p6PZg/s320/stella+sophix.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is Stella's outfit for Sophix transformation</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Tonight and tomorrow more books will be read. I've actually nearly finished reading all the books which were January releases! I have a lot of February, but some are quite short. It's nice to get a little back on track. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Ketamine is still working, which is a huge plus. Still getting used to recognising when I'm tired more often, which is probably the only down side of the infusion. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hope you enjoyed the weekend and did something fun. </div>

<br />
Some of you will know that tomorrow I'm trying a new treatment. Today I had to come home from work early as I wasn't well. I think I can safely say it wasn't germ gremlins and was just nerves. I definitely will not be online tomorrow (no reviews, no blog posts, & no twitter). I'm hoping to be back on quite quickly, but I haven't had the treatment before and as per usual the side effects which they legally have to list (which I illegally wish to club them over the head with a book for citing what I already know) could - if they appear - take a little time to disappear.<br />
<br />
I'm currently resting up with films (on the new and so awesome Netflix UK), and will do so when I'm home tomorrow afternoon. Emails/blog comments will be out of action until I'm feeling up for it. Hoping I'll have good news when I see you the other side!Nayuleskahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08693548526829437580noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5610236969113047277.post-65828667715028915122012-01-28T18:49:00.001+00:002012-01-28T18:49:10.799+00:00Hot chocolate & books = wonderful!<div style="text-align: center;">
In light of yesterday's room tidying, in which I possibly overdid things somewhat, today I have been good and rested. I caught up with my family's holiday photos & video <span style="font-size: x-small;">(it was actually really interesting, as they saw and loved the third largest mosque in the world. As the only Muslim in the family, I was quite delighted that they enjoyed it so much). </span><span style="font-size: small;">And then I went back to reading. Today I read the following </span></div>

While I read the previous book, I drank a yummy hot chocolate from Abu Dhabi, yet made in Italy (go figure that one out). It was scrummy! It didn't look like this, but it might have tasted like this. </div>

Last summer a close friend moved to Germany. With sporadic contact on Twitter, I knew she was settling in ok, just really busy with her baby girl. Today I received a letter from her (& some chocolate, always most welcome. It's German chocolate, which is a new tasting experience for me). It was super to hear from her. Because I find it fun, I'm writing to her in my pigeon French. A lot of the time I forget words, remembering the Japanese so I use the English. She replied too, in purple ink with stunning cursive handwriting. I ought to mention that she herself is French. It was awesome to hear from her, and I'll be writing back soon. I know that email is the norm now, but there is something about receiving a letter through the post, especially from distant friends. So go write someone a letter today. </div>

As you may have noticed, my blog background is currently white. Unfortunately it turned out there was a limit on the number of times the template was used. As I'm not the artist, I couldn't change the settings on the template, and thus had to remove it. For now white will do :) I think it looks okay. I still have a funky header. </div>Nayuleskahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08693548526829437580noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5610236969113047277.post-55606680127133094992012-01-25T18:42:00.001+00:002012-01-25T18:42:38.625+00:001 week to go!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlih_I81l5W0mtm1pvscCYB7agDH8-zBK2BBZbZ0OybKavoG4as5Ws0-sD11Z_mQXyWXXS47A7PBc845cSVcxPni68uBZn6RbFEzf4qRDa1YI3Ums8NQylJNQqEwrkMGbVa2zhBeyBYP6K/s1600/anime+girl+happy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="381" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlih_I81l5W0mtm1pvscCYB7agDH8-zBK2BBZbZ0OybKavoG4as5Ws0-sD11Z_mQXyWXXS47A7PBc845cSVcxPni68uBZn6RbFEzf4qRDa1YI3Ums8NQylJNQqEwrkMGbVa2zhBeyBYP6K/s400/anime+girl+happy.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
(no idea which anime this is from - but it sums up how I feel) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Yay! In a week's time I will hopefully have had my infusion. The level of excitement is pret-ty high. It might not work - I have a week off from work to recover. But if it does work - wow! So many little things will be easier. I'll be able to read more (always a plus), do more craft, actually go out and see friends occasionally - including attending book blogger events. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I managed to write a little today - it was going through what I've written so far on my wip, because I hadn't touched it for a while. I made a few notes, starting researching for it (I'm now fascinated with searching boarding schools for girls). It was good progress. No writing tomorrow per se, but I'll watch anime, which is research for the type of power used in the wip. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Have a good evening! </div>Nayuleskahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08693548526829437580noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5610236969113047277.post-28012315232568906322012-01-23T18:29:00.000+00:002012-01-24T18:30:42.581+00:00Got my head in a book.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Almost literally. Had a fun but busy weekend, followed with a busy day at work. Hence the super short blog post. I've even pulled a review forward for tomorrow so I don't have to type one up tonight from my notes. 5 hours until I can head to sleep. Lots of time to do reading.Nayuleskahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08693548526829437580noreply@blogger.com0
