But...the strangest thing happened. In the middle of reading a really good book, my Muse decided to stir. She decided to figure out what would happen next in chapter 3 (of which there were only a few sentences).
My fingers got this tingly feeling. So down went my book and out came my wip! I've worked my way through most of the chapter. I'm not 100% fond of it (when am I ever?). And Muse is flagging on the last few paragraphs. So I'm calling it a day, will finish up then edit tomorrow before sending to betas.
In an ideal world, if I could write a chapter every 2 days, that would be pretty good for me right now. I'm not going to push it though. One day at a time.
It's just dawned on me, that I've nearly written those all important first 3 chapters! Whoohoo! They are not agent worthy yet though. Only chapter 2 might be vaguely heading in that direction. I'm getting there, slowly!

Yay! Congrat's on the unexpected productivity. You never know when inspiration (or a Muse for that matter) will strike! ^_^
Thanks! That is so true :)
